Friends and Family – I have come to a point in my life where “Enough is enough." I have enough possessions, enough toys, clothes, and I’ve certainly had enough calories to last me a long time. Being fortunate enough to live in this country, my “enough” makes me “rich” to more than 95% of the world’s population. I’d like to do my small part to change that, and I hope that you will help me out in this campaign.
My birthday is coming up and I would like to celebrate by funding a Doctor’s Salary and Expenses at a clinic for the poorest of the poor in Bihar, India. Each week the Doctor can give medical attention to about 173 people for only $334 in US funds – less than $2 per person. I would like to see how many weeks of medical care can be funded.
Will you help me out in this? Will you, my Facebook friends, give up one latte (or more) to potentially save a life? If you are willing and able to support this wonderful cause, it would be the best birthday present I could get – and an even better blessing to the people in Bihar. Thank you, everyone! --Tricia
Most of the impoverished in Bihar, India do not have access to medical care they can afford. We can change that. By covering the cost of a doctor for two years, we can jumpstart a medical clinic and get the impoverished the care they rightfully deserve. Together, we can establish one of the first permanent clinics for the impoverished, who will still be paying customers--just paying at reasonable prices in comparison to their wages. For $333.75 you can cover the doctor's salary for a week, helping 173 people get access to care.
