Mr. Samuel, a master artisan residing in Gonaives, Haiti, designed all the sweetgrass baskets you find in our store. He has partnered with 2nd Story Goods, one of our parterns, to teach 15 young men and women his trade in an impoverished village near Gonaives. These baskets are one of the fruits of his partnership.
