Jesus' Economy creates jobs and churches in the developing world, as well as meets basic needs—resulting in a new global, spiritual and physical economy for those that need it most. We provide an online fair trade store and initiate holistic regional transformation projects. We're a 501 (c)(3), non-profit charitable organization, which lives by principles, including financial transparency.
We make a three to five year commitment to a community. During that time, we create jobs by offering microloans, ethical business training, and being the guaranteed buyer of products produced. We create churches by providing grants for new church plants and training new pastors. We meet basic needs by identifying with local community leaders the most pressing issues and solving them. And we interconnect all the work into one larger plan to ensure it results in holistic change. All projects are designed with, and done by, members of the communities we serve.
Corruption destroys jobs; healthy churches end corruption. We train leaders in skills and ethics and hold them accountable. We connect church leaders to global donors. We connect entrepreneurs to global commerce and investors. We broker their goods to the right people that need or want them to ensure that there is always a buyer and the economic situation is constantly improving. We're about partnering with community leaders and other organizations to transform entire communities.
When we as Christians work together, no matter what our denomination (or lack thereof), we can do more for the world. To plant churches, Jesus' Economy works with any and all Christian denominations. And the Board of Directors of Jesus' Economy affirms The Apostles' Creed. When buying products and offering microloans, we work with anyone who practices biblical ethics and fair trade principles: our business and community development partners are not required to share the beliefs of Jesus' Economy's Board of Directors. Let's make the world a better place, together.
