Sunday Bobai Agang is the Provost and Board of Governor's Secretary for ECWA (Evangelical Church Winning All) Theological Seminary in Kagoro, Nigeria.
Sunday has his doctorate in Christian Ethics from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. He has published multiple articles, including articles in Christianity Today, and several books. His published books include The Impact of Ethnic, Political, and Religious Violence on Northern Nigeria and a Theological Reflection on Its Healing and When Evil Strikes: Faith and the Politics of Human Hostility. Sunday presents papers around the world and has even presented a paper at Oxford University.
Growing up, Sunday desired to be involved with the church in some way. After completing his primary education, Sunday received his Certificate in Pastoral Theology from ECWA Bible College, and used it to become a Christian Education Secretary for various cities around Nigeria. After deciding that he needed to further his education in order to better spread the word of Jesus, Sunday attended ECWA Theological Seminary in Jos, Nigeria for his undergraduate education, and received his B.A. in Pastoral Theology.
During his many years of education, Sunday received many prestigious scholarships, including Langham and ScholarLeaders scholarships. He also served as a Research Fellow with Langham Partnership International and is currently a Research Fellow with Nigerian Pentecostal and Charismatic Research. Sunday has also served as a pastor.
