Patty Mitchell has dedicated her life to the arts, mathematics, and her family. She is passionate about painting, clothing design, and equipping other people to live their dream. To honor Patty's legacy, her family is empowering impoverished women in Northeast India to develop their own clothing designs, businesses, and sell their products in the U.S. This will lift entire families out of poverty. To do this, we're asking you to join us in providing sewing machines for an Empowering Women Center.
Join us: In lieu of gifts, please donate in Patty's honor.
Every last dollar donated via this page will be spent exclusively on sewing machines in Bihar, India. This is the guarantee of Jesus' Economy, a 501(c)(3) non-profit working to Renew Bihar, India. The goal on this page represents the cost of three sewing machines. It's also symbolic of Patty's life: $100 for each decade of her life. Join us in raising $900 toward renewing hope for impoverished families in Bihar, India. Any amount raised over the goal will be used for purchasing sewing machines.
Jesus' Economy is helping women from extreme poverty situations learn to make products for a western market—as well as learn business basics and ethical business practices. Jesus' Economy also helps women take their products to market online, to bring money into their businesses quickly. Each sewing machine will be used in a forthcoming Empowering Women Center for training and product development.
Partner with us to lift entire families out of poverty through training.
