The budding chef in your family could do no better than these adorable aprons from Haiti! With a handy front pocket to hold spoons and recipes, these fair trade aprons support jobs in the economically struggling village of Jubilee, Haiti. The men and women who hand-dye and sew these aprons depend on the incomes received from the sale of their goods to support their families. The artisans who created these aprons live in a village just outside of Gonaives, Haiti. It's in this village where 2nd Story Goods, a partner of Jesus' Economy, founded Trade School Haiti. At the trade school, artisans are learning to hone their crafts of sewing, jewelry making, leather work, and weaving so that they can sustainably provide for themselves and their families.
