Benson, pictured here, has lived and worked in the desperately poor village of Jubilee, Haiti for many years. He is a leatherworker by trade. He starting out binding books and Bibles for his friends, until he was discovered by 2nd Story Goods—a ministry working in Jubilee. They came alongside him and nurtured his work, until he was successfully making journals for their fair trade product line. We sell those journals in our store. Check them out. Benson's product line and abilities have since expanded over the years to bring stable jobs to many of people in Jubilee. He now has a team of people who help make journals, bags, and other leather products. You can find them all in our store.
