Artisan's Story

Artist Benson Thermidor lives in Jubilee, a village just outside of Gonaives, Haiti. He was binding songbooks, Bibles, and texts for local friends when 2nd Story Goods, a local non-profit, asked him to teach his skills to others in the village who needed work. Through this partnership, Benson's business has grown to include 25 other men and women and a full-sized workshop.
